Track The Reds...

Featured Replies

It was a .500 team last year with the same manager. It's all about the guys on the field getting it done. Right now they aren't, and in the worst way. Everyone is frustrated, and it's now a daily thing to find why the guy should be fired TONIGHT. Over and over. Is this a UK thread 6 months ago???

At least Tubby had a say so in who was on his team...

Are we really in this ignorant of a baseball town?

We are now. I still blame it on Leather Pants...

But Paul Daugherty said...

Underachieving by 5 games and you're calling for the managers head...tell me that sounds as ridiculous to you as it does to me...

The Red Sox did it with Little for one bad decision....They sure didn't benefit from that...

Doubleday? Nice. Going the personal attack route.

You, along with others here and elsewhere, continue to look for a loss to loss reason to bash Narron. Tonight it's the 129 pitch start.

Arroyo had yet to give up more than 4 runs in a start this season before the last two and then he gave up 4 first inning runs in each of the last two.

11 starts with only 4 not considered quality. And he only has two wins.

That's not on Narron. Quit looking at the easiest talking point to blame...

Not meant to be a personal attack...however, you just assumed I am going with personal "talking point garbage." Which to me, your response is flippant about my opinion.

So be it.

Not every loss can be penned to Narron. What can be penned to Narron is the laissez-faire attitude that fans see in the players.

Narron is not a leader...in a position like his you need to be able to handle the management side and the leadership side. Right now he is not a good fit. Joe Torre can have a laissez-faire attitude, because he has players in his clubhouse who are leaders and will get on other players.

The Reds don't. Griffey is not a leader...never has been one to be outspoken. He is who he is and that is a plyare who has had a heckuva career and nice season this year.

Ultimately, the blame falls with management.

The quickest way to make change on the field is not going to happen this year...because if they fire Narron you get Dent.

This season is down the tube...and out of despearation, I think Narron is making some moves out of desperation...

He is the manager and the first one to go is the manager and when they keep losing the heat gets a little hotter.

What can be penned to Narron is the laissez-faire attitude that fans see in the players.

That sums it up best for me, it's not about wins and losses at this point, it's the attitude the players seem to have, part of that blame has to go on Narron.

Everyone ready for some Reds baseball?! We are going to break the losing streak TODAY! Hopefully.

Even if we don't I will still be watching. Sadly.

We are facing a Left handed pitcher so our chances of winning are about 15%.

Even if we don't I will still be watching. Sadly.

I have watched just about every game this year, no reason to stop now. Wayne just reiterated that Homer isn't ready and won't be up anytime soon. I know there was a discussion about his contract status, so maybe he would be brought up in July.

He did say there are several guys in Louisville that may eventually be called up, didn't name them, but I'm guessing Coffey will be brought back up eventually.

Great start...

I mentioned it before, I can't recall the last time the Reds got a lead early. It seems like EVERY GAME they are falling behind early.

Votto is ready to come up now to bad there isn't a spot for him.
