6-1 Buckos. Anyone know Reds team record for consecutive losses?

We may very well find out if this continues.

2 innings in a row Reds leave bases loaded:scared:

You would like to think they would score runs eventually, too bad the bullpen would likely give those runs right back.

Did I hear that stat correctly, the Pirates have walked 8 and hit a batter and the Reds only have 2 runs.

You have a pitcher throwing the ball EVERYWHERE, Freel gets up there and is swinging at balls in the dirt. Lovely.

Maybe the Reds are tanking the games to assure themselves of the top pick in the draft

Could be, at this point it will take far more than one player or one new manager to fix this mess.

Not many adjectives left in the dictionary to describe how bad this team is. Truly horrific, more frustrating cause this team REALLY had a chance to show how much heart and character they had with this home stand, maybe pick themselves up off the mat. Just bad, bad.

This team plays like Rose is the manager and he has money on the opposing team.

Oh no you DIDN'T! :scared:

Arroyo has not pitched the same since Narron rode him for 130 pitches in San Diego, on the last road trip.

He hasn't pitched well because he can't get out of trouble early. It's more a point to having to win the games the starters pitch well because they are not going to give those performances every time out. Putting Arroyo's failure the last two starts on Narron is more talking point garbage. One day maybe the team will be held accountable for this mess of a start...

Talking point garbage.

My fault Doubleday.

Two starts since...6 IP, 13 hits, and 7 BB's.

He has walked people before but he is doing it at a higher rate now.

Plus his breaking ball has not had the bite it normally does against righty's.

His last two starts prior to San Diego was 120 and 117 pitch outings, then the 129 pitch outing.

He has a rubber band arm...but his last two outings have not been good...even though he has had rough starts.

He is no where near as sharp as he has been.

They mentioned on TV tonight that maybe there could be something wrong with Arroyo and it just hasn't come out yet. I know Arroyo has the rubber arm, but how bad would that be if he we down. As if things can't get any worse for this team. Hopefully he is just in a bad stretch now and will get out of it.
