Track The Reds...

What's the point in arguing. You would have just found something else to gripe about if Hobbs was in and went 0-3...

Not true, I have no problem with Hamilton playing everyday....He's young, and the experience is only going to do him good. If you want to give him a day off that's fine, but just do it when Freel is going to be in the lineup.

Nitpicking semantics. Pointless...

Just for the record Hamilton is batting .250 aganist lefties.

To be honest the Reds should just bring up their entire Dayton team and have them finish out the road trip, doesn't matter who starts, this trip isn't going to go well. lol

Not really, I don't care that they lost, it happens, especially when a pitcher pitches as well as Wolf did tonight. I just feel that you should put your best possible team on the field each night....

I would have felt the same way if the Red Sox were starting Hinske in right, Lowell came down with a bug, and they moved Hinske to 3rd and put Wily Mo in right instead of Drew.

6-24 with 9 Ks and 4 walks. Hobbs was in the perfect spot to help the team, and he went down on 3 pitches tonight. If Hobbs starts and follows his recent trend, it doesn't matter one bit. Hopper had been swinging a good stick off the bench, but like everyone but Griff and and the 2B by CASTRO (replaced Freel) he had a bad night. There is nothing to show starting Hobbs would have mattered either way tonight. It's arguing semantics...

Either way it's about 95% that you still lose. You play poker. Do you bet that bad hand if it's 8-3 or Q-2???

I only know that if you have a bunch of different suits to fold. lol

What does 8-3 or Q2 mean, are you sure that isn't a chess reference.

1 RBI, it's been painful watching him swing lately.

Would they have still lost? Probably so, all I'm saying is that I feel they would have had a better chance at the W if Hamilton starts....

Anyone think that the Martin slide against Castro was a little borderline dirty?

Marty and the Cowboy thought it was OK.

After watching the replays, I thought it was very borderline...no real attempt to throw by Castro and the lead foot was right on his ankle.

A good foot inside the base...

Close.

Castro said after the game that it wasn't dirty.

No, not really. It was fine. I was looking for the bag and when I found it I was thinking about throwing to first," Castro said. "He got me off-balance so it looked bad. He’s playing the game the right way. He didn’t come high or anything. It was nothing dirty.”

Okay, so Freel is out sick, and you start Hopper??? Who cares if Hamilton is a lefty, you have to put your best lineup on the field....And the Reds wonder why they suck....

Hamilton is really going to help you from the dugout, uh?........................ridiculous!

I do.

I do.

Why?? Even Castro said it wasn't dirty.
