May 13, 200719 yr Reguardless its luck. But the more you meet the ball and make contact the more you get lucky. :thumb: It is not luck. Good teams find ways to make things happen. Bad teams find excuses for their way they are playing. It may be luck if it happens every now and again...but this is happening quite a bit. Bad baseball team...

May 13, 200719 yr Marty stoking the fires. He just mentioned the future of Jerry Narron. He said he talked to Wayne Krivsky, 3 days ago about the future of Jerry Narron...."is he in jeopardy?" Krivsky's reply..."not even on the radar." Mary said what if they go 2-7 or 3-6 on the roadtrip...Krivsky said, "not an issue" Marty just said, "we'll see." Said in short whether the organization is delusional or optimistic, this club has major, major problems. Said he is not advocating a change, but everyone knows how this game operates, when it comes to loping off heads, the manager is the first to go. Says Narron didn't put this team together...but still. I think a continual decline in attendance may play a role. The attendance for the Astros series was weak, and a 2-7 roadtrip, will see them return to sparse crowds.

May 13, 200719 yr If Jerry Narron were not the manager, I would venture the Reds would have 4-5 more wins....
May 13, 200719 yr ^^ If he was pitching in the bullpen then I would agree but until he gets a fair product to put on the field the jury is still out on how he can really manage in my eyes.
May 13, 200719 yr Yep, pretty darn boring and it got off to such a good start. Then everything went ASKEW with this team, again.
May 13, 200719 yr Nearing the end of the 1st quarter of the season and the Reds have only beaten the Pirates and Cubs in a series so far this year.
May 13, 200719 yr The bad news is, they are TEN AND A HALF out in a bad division. The good news is, they are ten and a half out in a BAD DIVISION.
