It is scary to think that if Milton got the same kind of run support he could be 4-1 or a really good record like that.

 

As much as I would love to say that I would give Uncle credit if that was the case, I would likely be saying he still sucks because he wouldn't win if the offense wasn't picking him up. lol

 

No one here disputes the fact that Harang is #1 or #1A between him and Bronson, yet he really hasn't pitched that well this year.

His curve is also MLB ready. The main concern is the change up. He can't get it to go slow enough to make a difference...

Yeah, I didn't know he had a big time curve, but I had heard that about his change up. Admittedly, I don't know a lot about him. I need to take a drive down to the 'ville and watch him one of these days before he gets called up.

All you need to know is that he is the greatest pitcher in baseball history and is already in Cooperstown. lol

 

I want to see the kid as much as anyone though, VERY anxious to see how he does on the big stage when his time comes. I know he is going to have ups and downs like anyone else, I just hope the bullpen decides to do their job especially on nights he pitches. : )

He is. Learn to get the change-up down to 80 for strikes and he's golden. With Hughes already up in NYC, he is the best on the farm...

I know he isn't going to come in and change the world for this team this season but I think he could learn better up here. I think some of that is me just wanting to see him very badly. I will trust others judgment though that say he isn't ready.

I'd rather Livingston or Doumitt(sp?) get the start over Bailey....I say they wait until after the break for the Homer call-up.

What worries me about Livingston is that he is averaging more than a hit an inning in AAA.

 

Dumatrait is pitching really well, and that would be fine. He is also a lefty, which replacing Milton with, makes some sense.

 

I still think it'll be Homer -- in spite of all signs pointing to Phil.

You know what would be a cool bgp trip. Find out when Homer is pitching in Louisville and we all get together and go see him pitch with our own eyes before coming up here.
