What? Are you kidding me?" By the talks of my source, he said even if he was he'd have next semester or season to bring it up, so he says it's just a rumor...This source is pretty accurate coming from a player on the team, but who knows he may not know a whole lot about Joe.
March 23, 200719 yr Fans drove him out, plain and simple..It is pretty clear in the statement he had today that said everybody wants to be wanted, and that he feels very wanted at Minnesota, and could feel the love of the fans already.... THis is one of the reasons I don't see Billy D. wanting to come here.

March 23, 200719 yr Maybe the next coach won't lose 10 games or more in 5 out of the next 8 years...hopefully. Hopefully the next coach will get past the elite 8 in the next 9 years...hopefully. He will be lucky to have a winning record next season and get back to the NCAA Tourn in 5 years. Only time will tell.
March 23, 200719 yr It's not that bad. This is very similar to what went down at UC last year and the penalty was the loss of 1 scholarship for last season and no future penalties for 2 years...I know, but sometimes you have to exaggerate to get the flares to light.

Anyone will be lucky to have a winning season against our schedule, concidering all that has transpired. But all of the coaches mentioned would have UK back in the tournament within 2 years, 3 at the most.
