Also I just saw the replay and yes it was a hard foul, but if you look, Oden was going for the ball.

First and foremost try and think logically, for such a thing to occur it would take a sworn silence by a great number of people. I ask you, in todays world where everyone seeks their fifteen minutes of fame do you really believe that everybody involved in such a conspiracy could keep it quite? Common sense people, please just a little common sense. Hate OHIO St. all you want, we can take it, but try to be realistic in your evaluations. Yes, I am a Buckeye and very proud of that fact. To call Oden a punk is absolutely ridiculous. I do understand that the "All "Oden All the Time" stuff is a bit over the top, but hey I am sure that any body on this forum would like to have him on their favorite team. At first I thought that a flagrant foul was going to be called, but after seeing it again the officials made the right call. OSU was lucky to survive. I thought all along this would be a tough game for the Bucks and it was.
March 17, 200719 yr What lost the game for X was not running their offense and trying to take time off the clock when up by 7. Played not to lose instead of playing to win. Several times they had Ohio State dead only to let them off the ropes. If Xavier drives to the basket and draws fouls or shoots the three ball when up they win plain and simple. When they let the shot clock go down to 12 before even looking for a shot, you lose. Terrible X-ecution in the final minute in what could have been THE signature win for the program.

March 17, 200719 yr This was so disappointing for X but they have to make the plays when given the opportunity. This would have been huge and leaves a bad taste in the mouth despite what really was a very nice season.

I guess we'll see... Kind of suprised about the Miller news. The 8-9 seed is probably the toughest besides the 16. Win your 1st game against a tough opponent then you get #1. Ouch!
