March 18, 200719 yr I'm continually amazed at the lack of awareness of defenders late in a game where the offense HAS to have a 3 pt shot. Why in the world would any defender be below the 3 pt line? Had they not, Lewis never gets a clean look. Its not just X, its almost every team. It amazes me.

March 18, 200719 yr Fact of the matter is X could have sealed the deal with one more FT from Cage. 9 point lead with 2 and change left, very tough loss for the XMen. As far as calling Oden a "punk", that's out of line.
March 18, 200719 yr Play of the game - The no call on the intentional foul on Oden with 9 secs left. Officials should be investigated. I agree! You get a kid to do the same thing on the same floor this coming week at the Sweet 16 he would get a T. I have seen college players get a T for less than what Oden did at the end. In the end the ref's cost X the game, no reason a T shouldn't have been called.
March 18, 200719 yr Sean Miller isn't a very good coach... Wasn't it suprising how the Miller went from being criticized mid-season to being loved by the end of the season and the only thing that really changed was playing all conference games in the crappy A-10?
