(1) Ohio St 78 (9) Xavier 71 OT

Play of the game -

The no call on the intentional foul on Oden with 9 secs left.

Officials should be investigated.

Intentional foul, should have been a technical foul, game over. Oden clearly shoved the X player down , he didnt even try to go for the ball. As they say at CCH games "Im blind, Im def I wanna be a ref"

The refs sucked all game long and kept Xavier in it but the Buckeyes stayed within themselfs and kept playing and in the end talent over came all.

Kept X in it? Are you saying that the refs called it X's way?

The more talented team won, but the refs did a Laettner stomp to the hearts of the Xaverians......that sucks.

I like how the announcers didn't have much to say about it. Have to think they are instructed to ignore anything like that if the situation should arise.

I am sure they don't want to add fuel to the fire that its going to be burning.

Oden straight up shoved the guy under the basket. It should have been intentional, ball given game over.

Shame.

I did not, however, lose respect for the guy because of it. I can not imagine the frustration going through him at that point and not that it was right but it happens in the heat of the game like that.

ANYONE with any sort of basketball savvy, who watched this game knows that what Newark typed is way off base.

You obviously didnt watch the game very closely.

Oden could easily have been called for his 4th early in the second half.

They are.

This is not sports, it is a billion dollar business, and its headquarters is in Columbus.

Ohio St, wins the title this year, you, me and the officials are sure to have a bet on that.

Actually I think they are not allowed to say anything derogatory :thumb:

I really hope you mean OSU.

Bet ESPN shows it a million times and stirs the pot as to what were the ref s doing here?
