March 17, 200719 yr Final. Oden had 14 & 12. (fouled out in regulation) Ohio St will play either Tenn or Virginia in the Sweet 16.
March 17, 200719 yr So sad the refs cost X the game. Even though X had a chance to seal it with a free throw but it should have never came to that.
March 17, 200719 yr Play of the game - The no call on the intentional foul on Oden with 9 secs left. Officials should be investigated.
March 17, 200719 yr Oden is a punk....I lost all respect for him in this one. :fight: Me 2, I cannot stand the guy...
March 17, 200719 yr Ron Lewis had 27 pts & 6 rebounds for Ohio St. Cage had 25 points for X. Cage played great, unfortunatley he will only remember one missed shot in this game
March 17, 200719 yr The refs sucked all game long and kept Xavier in it but the Buckeyes stayed within themselfs and kept playing and in the end talent over came all.
March 17, 200719 yr I just wonder why yet another coach doesn't tell his team to foul up by three? No Oden to get the rebound off the intentional miss. I just don't get it???
March 17, 200719 yr It will be a sad day in "The Nobiz" house. Xavier played great, and was the better team today. Tough to see JD and JC go out on such a tough loss. X-A-V-IER!
March 17, 200719 yr I believe the NCAA should say something in regards to this staff. They even had a chance to review the foul to call it flagrant (ala Henderson on Hansbrough), with the t.o. but didn't do the right thing. Bad, bad no call. Xavier deserved the win, and they had their best opportunity stolen from them. If OSU goes on to win the title, I will not respect it.
March 17, 200719 yr Play of the game - The no call on the intentional foul on Oden with 9 secs left. Officials should be investigated. I like how the announcers didn't have much to say about it. Have to think they are instructed to ignore anything like that if the situation should arise.
