Also Bennett was out for several games with his wrist in a cast. He did not play in the Mason Co game in Feb. which Mason won by 8 points.

 

Bennet may not make much noise but he really creates matchup problems because you can't leave him on defense. He takes some pressure off of Knowles and Jones offensively.

I feel that Scott is clear #1 & then there is a pretty big gap after #2 Ballard.

Anything could happen but in a horse race, they would be one of the long shots. I always like to see the long shot or cinderella team.

If Knowles comes to play like he has, IDC who GRC is matched up against, They will be a very very tough out, also Holmes seems to be clicking on all cylinders, they have the talent and now it seems drive to win the whole thing.

They match-up very well with SL. I look for Holmes to make to Saturday morning and go up against SC in a great semi-final game.

For the record, those of you who don't have Holmes in your top 10 should know that the region championship team (full strength- Hill, Rice, Jefferson, Henderson, Nelson) only lost one game playing together and that was to CCH by 3 points on CCH home floor. Don't be fooled by their record.

Colud not agree more. I have been lucky enough to see both P.T. and Holmes play this year and Holmes is by far the better team. They are quicker, more physical and the bigger guards of Holmes will cause major headaches for P.T. Tilghman inside game is nice but they are not RICE and Hill and Nelson. Holmes by 12-14 in this one.

I started to make my rankings. Then I saw this. Its right on IMO. Holmes is way better than 10th or 1th. Holmes is possibly the sleeper.

When did you see PT play?

I believe that June Buchanan and Shelby Valley are going to surprise some people at Rupp this year. I dont know if they will win a game or not, but the fans of Rupp Arena will not be disappointed in their play. I think Shelby Valley will beat Elliott County and I believe June Buchanan will play Warren Central very tough, and would not be shocked if they beat them.
