For the record, those of you who don't have Holmes in your top 10 should know that the region championship team (full strength- Hill, Rice, Jefferson, Henderson, Nelson) only lost one game playing together and that was to CCH by 3 points on CCH home floor. Don't be fooled by their record.

You are right, some records do not indicate that some of the loses were when they had players out because of injuries.

Much like GRC's record right GS. Tournament time may be the first time all season that GRC has been at full strength all season. Jones had been recovering from his broken arm suffered in football season for a lot of the year, Stenzel went out with an ankle injury (I think it was an ankle) for a few games, and Knowles has served a few team suspensions over the course of the season. GRC will be tough to be at full strength, I don't care who they are playing.

Injuries for GRC. When we played them in the Toyota classic - Tristan Jones still had a big cast on his hand.

 

Injuries and other reasons for Holmes. I posted a while back that the disciplinary actions of the administration at Holmes was the best thing that could have happened to that team. The kids came back focused and with a chip on their shoulder. They will be a tough out in the tournament. I bet they act right in the hotel this trip to Lexington...:thumb:

Also Bennett was out for several games with his wrist in a cast. He did not play in the Mason Co game in Feb. which Mason won by 8 points.
