Normally I'd have the 16th team very close to the end but Elliot whooped up on Ashland, who wasn't bad. Ferguson is a player, and I think they could surprise some (while I'm not predicting an upset).

EastBank I agree with you a lot but NO WAY is Oldham County better than Holmes. I can't comment on Paducah or SV but Holmes is far too talented to be 11th.

I saw Elliott County lose to Paintsville, although admittedly Ferguson was playing with a sore ankle. I've seen most of the field and I didn't see a team I would place below Elliott.

Besides, someone has to be 16th ...

I watched the 16th region final and if Elliott plays in the state like they played in the region final against Ashland people will be getting in line to watch and you will here the muttering of Cinderella team?

Elliott may win a game, but the line will end at Warren Central.

Besides, Elliott didn't play any state top-20 teams in the regional tournament. If they get past Shelby Valley, they will likely face a steep upgrade in competition.

You may very well be right but they are very exciting to watch and will quickly get a fan following.
