March 12, 200719 yr Did anyone else catch this by Clark Kellogg? He called Chris Lofton James Lofton during the selection show... How bad is it that CBS analysts don't know the name of the SEC Player of the year and one of the 10 best players in the nation?
March 12, 200719 yr Yup. I noticed this and had a little chuckle, but Mr. Kellogg is 10X more on the ball than his counterpart Mr. Davis.

March 12, 200719 yr I noticed it and laughed as well. I'm sure he didnt' realize that he did it because he did slow up or anything. It's gotta be tough to not make a mistake every now and then.
March 12, 200719 yr I caught it as soon as he said it. I could understand a mistake like this if he had been talking about Bobby Perry and called him Robert.....but Lofton is the SEC PLAYER OF THE YEAR!!!

March 12, 200719 yr Well that is pretty bad that they called him James lofton. They have a lot on their minds at tourney time crunching and moving around a lot, but I dont believe that Chris Lofton is a top 10 player in the country, probably a top ten shooter in the country. I feel like he is the best shooter/player on his team giving his numbers a boost. He is not better to me than about 3 guys in the SEC.
March 12, 200719 yr Do you guys think this is going to affect the way that Lofton plays in the tournament? Cause we are discussing it, but I bet he doesn't care at all, lol.
