February 27, 200719 yr UNC and IU kept most of their roster in tact while UC lost just about everything and had to start from scratch. That's the question. Who would stay and who would go... I think that would fall on the new coach to, in essence, recruit the players to stay at UK. Much like Sampson had to do with Bassett (I believe it was). Unless Morris gets signed he isn't going anywhere. Unless Crawford feels like he can get drafted he isn't going anywhere and the same with Bradley. The Freshman are who I would be worried about.

My point is that all these people who want Tubby fired right away, dont seem to realize that next year we would be way worst off most likely without Tubby. The only way possible to where it might not make as much of a difference if Tubby wasn't here would be to wait to see what P.P. and Lucas do first. Because if keep Tubby we have good shot to get those guys and could have a great year next year, but if Tubby is not here then they dont come here and that spells alot more trouble next year for whoever the coach is...

February 27, 200719 yr As I said in another thread, I think Tubby would be a perfect fit as a permanent Team USA Coach. Class act, tremendously knowledgeable, recruiting is mostly handled by the higher ups. I think that would be a great spot for him.:thumb:

You are basing the future of the program on two high school kids that may or may not be that good in college. I don't feel either one is a can't miss prospect. In fact I think one is a big miss. That has been discussed in another thread. I just feel you don't make your decisions based on the opinions of a couple of recruits. That line of thinking has lead to many of the current problems IMO.
