LSU is in my eyes. They have the biggest star of the bunch, and they did make the final 4 last season. Duke would be 2nd on my list followed by Zona and UConn. Duke lost two all americans, but returned a few solid players, UConn and Zona are both very young. I think I'd put Alabama above Duke,Uconn and Zona.

Its LSU and there shouldn't be any question about that. Yeah Duke high expectations by some people for this year, but so did LSU. Duke is most likely going to make the NCAA tournament, while LSU right now is fighting to probably even make the NIT tournament...

With out a doubt it is the Tigers. Davis is having a Davis type year. Mitchell is playing OK. Everyone else decided to take the season off.

Add Gonzaga to the list.

Hmmm.... of the teams listed, without a doubt LSU. However, I in no way thought they would come close to winning near as many games this season and expected them to be in the 8-10 loss range. Relying on Tack Minor and John Brady to deliver you to the promised land is just not going to work.

'Bama: Steele injury has held them back.

UConn: Lost their top 8 players

Duke: Lost two All-Americans and not as big of suprise as some make it seem

I would also like to add Arkansas to the list. I see lots of talent, but they just have a tendency to just play flat out terrible sometimes.

Add Gonzaga to the list.

They're young, like Duke. Both lost fantastic scorers from last season that were impossible to replace. I don't think the expectations were too high for either team.

On the other hand, LSU was predicted by many to return to the Final Four and they've been awful. I voted for LSU.

I say Arizona because they probably have more talent than the other 3 combined.

LSU

Hard to label a team as disappointing, which lost multiple key players like Uconn and others.

I don't understand how you could call UConn or Duke disappointing. Everyone with at least a passive knowledge of basketball knows when you lose your two All-Americans (Duke) and your top 8 players (UConn), things aren't look sparkly for the next season. But leave it up to the media to hype these teams up and actually build a certain amount of expectation from them. Ridiculous.

I say LSU.

And after watching them for the however many times last night, Murray State is dissapointing to even walk into the arena to see. I nearly stabbed my eyes out after watching last night's trainwreck. They are on the verge of finishing below .500 for the first time in??? I have no idea and will have to look it up. I am guessing 20+ years.

I know we are talking about big boy college basketball but I had to get that off my chest.

I agree, But Duke lost more than JJ and Shelden. They lost.......

Lee Melchioni-Starter

Shaun Dockery-Starter 50/50 with Paulus.

Eric Boetang-Would probaly been this year's starting center.

Just found out, 1986-1987 season Murray State went 13-15. 20 years exactly.

They are currently 13-13 (11-7).
