Driver put the refs in a position that they had to toss him. I don't understand why a kid like that would put them in that position. That kid is a difference maker.

  • Two teams that just don't like each other. Lost some of it's luster when Catholic went down to 3A but still a rivalry. I look for Boyle to be ready and hit the Knights early and leave no doubt who i

  • I am the same way about "last year" but I think Boyle rolls in this one, probably a running clock.

  • Boyle 7-0 with Schepman TD reception .

Well expected the unexpected at a Lex Cath game. Game was pretty much under control with a 28-7 score midway into the 3rd. and driving until Jett got injured. Boyle learned a lot tonight. You can't give a team a 195 yards to 25 advantage on penalties (Should have been 15 less as Lexington WTVQ camera woman got ran into by the ref and Boyle got the 15 yard penalty. On to next week!

My memory is foggy but I remember Driver doing something unsportsmanlike last year too. Anyone?

Yea he had a couple of them but they were different games so ejections.

If ejected in the second quarter, can't he play the second half vs HHS? Not sure of the rules.

Whole game according to KHSAA rules.

Chris Zollner capturing a touchdown!

Can anyone elaborate on what the penalty was for? I am sure Highlands would want to play a full Boyle squad.

He was ejected from a basketball game (Highlands, I think) and had to sit out the next one.

If you are going to post these statements, share the whole story! Yes several players for both highlands and Boyle were ejected for a fight that started with a highlands player checking the Boyle County PG because he was mad at a no call and a fight ensued.

The whole story is that the Highlands player did check the Boyle PG, but it wouldn't automatically have been ruled a flagrant foul. Driver escalated the situation, and then the Boyle bench joined in, which earned them suspensions.
