February 14, 200719 yr We just came off of a loss to Tennessee what do you think of our matchup with 'Bama? Thoughts and Predictions. I say that UK will win by 5.
February 14, 200719 yr This one imo will be another tough one for the Cats. Steele is playing well again for Bama but with the Cats coming off 2 consecutive losses I say that U.K. rebound and gets the win. U.K. 74 Bama 70
February 14, 200719 yr Alabama's inside players are better than UT's, which does not bode well for the Cats. The skid continues..............Bama by 6.
February 14, 200719 yr Very tough road game following two tough losses. I think the Cats will be able to get a win, it will likely be close and come down to the wire. The good news is win or lose this win, they will get some "easier" games against Georgia and LSU at home. Before the rematch with Florida in Gainsville.
February 14, 200719 yr But so have the Cats...... Not to me. The only loss I didn't expect was Vandy at home and maybe Memphis. The others I think could/should have been expected. I did pick them beating Florida at home but that is was an upset and not an unexpected loss. They have lost to 3 #1 ranked teams, correct, Florida, UNC, UCLA. Then UT at UT. Not unexpected. Vandy at Rupp which is disappointing. In December I had said they would lose to Georgia at Georgia. Memphis, I can give them a pass on because it was early and the freshmen knew nothing about playing defense. Today, I think that game turns out differently.
February 14, 200719 yr LBBC, UK is definately inconsisent. Just look at their 3 point shooting over the last 3 games or so. Look at the play of Morris, one 10 minute span he cant be stopped, the next 10 minutes he disappears. Its really hard to buy, UK not being inconsistent.
February 14, 200719 yr Coming into the week, I felt a win at Alabama would be tougher than Tennessee. So this may not be good. But the Cats are 4-0 against the west this season. But then again what team from the East isn't.
