I was on the other end of the field for SK/Ryle session, but it sounded based on the SK crowd reaction (as well as Ryle's lack of reaction) that SK brought it today.  Their QB has a very strong arm and is not afraid to go for the long ball.

Ryle scored 3 deep passes. It was pretty even from what I saw. Not sure what happened after I left. I was impressed with the Pioneers defense they where flying to the ball and breaking up passes. Look alot better.

As my Dad used to say.. The “all-shorts team” looks great in summer until you put the pads on!

FYI, there will no KY teams competing in Hoover, AL this year due to the tournament being held during dead period.

We are being more deliberate in making sure we have no reps where a player is fatigued and it is a wasted opportunity for us to get better. We are trying to go with two completely different groups on

Highlands playing in the championship at Greenwood.

I was told it was
Ocath vs Apollo

Highlands vs Battle Ground

Highlands defeated OCath in a very tight game.

I was extremely happy with the Dixie Freshman who played 3 varsity teams today and held their own. All 3 games were even on the scoring. Vs Bellevue 2 scores each, vs Gallatin 1 score each and vs Holmes 2 scores each.

Looking forward to next week's All freshman future Stars event at Dixie.

That is great for Dixie and pretty much horrible for Bellevue, Gallatin County, and Holmes.

Ironton beat Boyle County by 2 in the ship at EKU.

Final four was Boyle,Breathitt, Glasgow and Ironton.

Most if not all are playing every player they have because of the heat.

We are being more deliberate in making sure we have no reps where a player is fatigued and it is a wasted opportunity for us to get better. We are trying to go with two completely different groups on defense for 7 on 7 and lots of rotation on offense.  I do think we got more good reps to improve because of that approach this past Thursday.

BGA wasn’t there. Highlands beat Station Camp (TN) in the semi’s.
