I was told earlier today that it would be Carter for Ryle and Meyer for Dixie.  I'm not there so I really can't confirm.

    Absolute downpour. Pitchers can’t get footing or grip on the ball. This isn’t baseball weather.

    It hasn't been raining much at all in Ft. Mitchell so I was confused.

    Scoreboard shows Ryle 5, Dixie 1. I'm surprised only 6 runs were scored in the rainy conditions. Any details?

    Brady Bushman vs Caleb Arrasmith. Both looking very sharp.

    2-1 ball game heading into the 7th. The rain picked up and Dixie’s pitcher struggled with footing and control, and Ryle tacked on 3. Bottom 7, Ryle pulled their starter after a walk and HBP as he was struggling too. Ryle reliever came in and was actually the first pitcher to slip and fall in his delivery. He settled in and got Dixie out to end the game.

    They are but a lot of solid contact right at people.

    An error by each team is what led to both runs.

    Conner gets out of a bases loaded jam. 2-1 BW heading into the bottom of 5.

    Side note, plate ump is bad.
