Ryle starts the inning with a base hit. Next batter hit a chopper that went over the 3rd baseman’s head as he pulled in expecting a bunt. Next batter hit a fly out to right and the runner tagged at second and went to third. Next batter bunted and was thrown out at first but runner stayed at 3rd with 2 outs. Tigers dodged a huge bullet there. The bunt was a curious call as all it did was move the runner from first to second. Lost a chance to get the run in.
