BW vs Ryle Thursday night

Tonight’s game was a real pitching duel till Bushman wore down in the 7th. Both teams consistently had runners on but each pitcher figured ways out of it. Arrasmith went the distance for the Tigers and he started to get a little erratic in the 7th but got the last 2 outs to move Tigers to the Regional Final. Once the rain stopped after the Ryle game it was a beautiful night for baseball. Looking forward to Thursday. Beechwood in a better spot pitching wise as Ryle used 1 and 2 the last 2 games. Should be fun. 

I will be live broadcasting the 9th region final from Thomas More Stadium! I will be in the "press bucket" calling the championship game on the radio as a neutral broadcaster...something I do all the time at the college level, but have never done at the High School level. UPDATE....so sorry to have to cancel but I was originally told there was no space for Highlands Radio at Thomas More for softball, after a phone call it looks like I will be out at Thomas More Softball tonight for NDA/Highlands 9th Region semi finals. Best of luck to Ryle and Beechwood tonight!

Beautiful evening for a Region Champion to be crowned. I might be the most unbiased observer tonight as I have loved and rooted for both of these teams for a long time. I will be happy for whoever hoists the trophy tonight and be proud of the team that came up just short and feel for their Seniors. I hope for a close down to the wire game tonight!!!! Good luck to both teams.

Whoops sorry about not posting anything. Been chatting away. Score is 0-0 in the bottom of the 4th Tigers coming to bat. AJ Davis and Sawyer Carlisle both pitching very well. Tigers have 1 hit and Ryle has 3 hits. All hits have been ground balls in the right holes. 

Tigers have an inning going 2 on 1 out. Arrasmith just had a bunt hit. Both stole so scoring position. 

Bases loaded 1 out as Mando walked. Zac Tru up

Zac Tru flies out to left and Tigers get a run on the board as Brooks Becker tagged and scored. Next batter grounded out to end the inning. Tigers lead Ryle 1-0 headed into the top of the 5th.
