Purdue and Texas are tied at 77 with :12 seconds to play and it is the Boilermakers ball.

Purdue wins on a tip in with .7 remaining to defeat the Longhorns 79-77.

I hate to see Texas lose that way but they had a solid run in the Tournament and gave Purdue one hell of a game. 

Arizona leads Arkansas by 10 at 25-15 at the under 12 media timeout and in the other game Illinois leads Houston 12-10 midway through the first half.

In a rock fight and not very entertaining Illinois leads 24-22 and Arizona is leading Arkansas 54-43 both games are at the half.

I thought the Purdue guy should have been called for over the back. He appeared on the view that I saw, to push off of the Texas players shoulder with his off-hand.

Arizona Arkansas is a layup shooting contest. Both teams are driving to the basket at will for layups.

Arizona is looking really good.

Arkansas has quit trying to play basketball and they are just wanting to fight and I am afraid that an Arizona player is going to be hurt.

Illinois is going to defeat Houston as they now lead 61-53 with just :58 seconds to play. Arizona is up on the Hogs by 22 at 97-55 with just under 6 minutes to play.

Illinois defeats Houston by 10 at 65-55 and will take on another Big 10 team in Iowa on Saturday.

It’s going to take a complete game for anyone to beat Arizona. They are too good to get sloppy with and I don’t know if that will be enough. I was pretty strong on Duke winning it all but I think Arizona’s chances are looking very good.

Arizona defeat Arkansas by 21 at 109-88 and will play Purdue on Saturday evening at 8:49pm.

Illinois and Iowa game will tip at 6:09pm both games will only be on TBS/TruTV.

I picked Arizona to win it all. I have St. John's beating Duke.

An interesting stat on Arizona so far in this NCAA tournament they have yet to trail in any of their 3 games.
