Boozer misses a big 1 and 1 at the line to give St. Johns a shot.

Duke is going to win and advance to the elite 8. Terrible management by the players for St. Johns down the stretch. Also don't know why Prey in the game with needing a 3 he was 4-4 tonight from 3 and was on thebench.

Duke defeats St. Johns 80-75 after trailing 53-44 with just over 15 minutes to play closed out the game on a 36-22 run for the win.

Michigan leads Alabama 70-60 with just under 12 minutes left in the game.

St. John’s played about as well as they could, especially in regards to shooting the ball, but still lost. 
 

Duke keeps finding ways to win, but they have looked very beatable in all three games. Kind of reminds me of the year they had Zion. They were dominate in the regular season, but in the tournament they had a couple of close games. Before eventually losing in the elite 8. I think it will be the same this year  and they will lose next game. 

#1 seed defeats Alabama by 13 to advance to the elite 8 it was 90-77. Bama was just able to score 28 2nd half points. Michigan will play the winner of Tennessee/Iowa State winner on Sunday at 2:15pm.

My two work brackets are on life support at this point. I have Michigan winning it all in one and Arizona in the other one. I could get lucky Saturday and Sunday but it's not looking good right now.

UConn is going to be moving on to the elite 8. They defeat the Spartans 67-63. They will take on Duke on Sunday.

In the last Sweet 16 game Tennessee leads Iowa State by 9 at 68-59 with 3 minutes to play.

Tennessee defeats Iowa State 76-62 and the Vols head to the elite 8 for the 3rd straight season. The Vols outrebounded the Cyclones 43-22. A lot of recent tournaments has been a guard oriented but this year the teams with the most success have very good big men.
