I think that is a fair question in the situations that you mentioned. However, I think where most of the public's issue with the two individuals you mentioned came from was with the handling of Coach Sullivan. Now, I don't think Coach Borchers had anything to do with the Sully issue as that was all Mr. Wilson. But, with all of the issues going on in the Cooper athletics programs (boys basketball, girls basketball, football, volleyball) someone has to be the scapegoat and catch the blame even if it is disgruntled parents bringing up the issues. 

I have been told by an incoming freshman family that the coaching staff resigned today. Anyone else heard this information?

Yes, have heard the same, but haven't been able to get any corroboration.  Some of the stories making their way through Union and NKY are starting to approach too crazy to believe.  I do know that Mr. & Mrs. pulled some HUDL videos to challenge of the accusations that were being thrown around.  

I can confirm that the players were informed on Friday that the coaches had resigned. Nothing further. I am assuming the administration will take their time to find the right fit.

Pretty wild that the coach (and husband) have stepped down and yet we’ve heard nothing about what actually happened? Only “heard from someone close to the situation that this goes beyond basketball” sort of lines. Just such a bizarre story.

I am going to assume that whatever is going on is bad enough that the coach did not want it to go any further, which would be the reason for the resignation. I do wish someone would just come out and provide some specifics to whatever is going on.

My experience has taught me that when people are afraid to be specific, it usually means they are embarrassed because, deep inside, they know that nothing too terrible was going on in the first place.

Agree with this....too much time has passed without anything damaging being released/leaked which - in this era - is a sign of much ado about nothing.

Per a FB post on the Boone County Neighborhood page sounds like the school as a whole has issues with having a toxic culture.  Parents wanting to give a heads up for the volleyball program.  When does the school board step in and address administration that clearly has no control?

I don't know that the admin "has no control", a lot of this seems like sour grapes from entitled parents in my opinion. But, there has definitely been a lot of drama coming out of Cooper Athletics, what do you recommend? Do you think the AD should be held responsible for parents voicing their displeasure?
