I really hope that this information comes to light. If there are some major things going on from an assistant coach then that needs to be public knowledge, in my opinion. I am sure there will be more coming out, but man, a lot of drama the last calendar year on Longbranch Road.

There is so much talent on other teams that their talent was equally matched this season.  Not taking anything away from the Cooper players.

They won the Queen of the Commonwealth Tourney and beat Sacred Heart in Louisville.  The talent on the team wasn't the question.

Were they as good as the Cooper teams that were crawling with D1 talent?  No.

This Cooper team lost 1 contributing player from the 9th region championship team. That player is good, very good (and I said at the beginning of the season that they would miss her a lot) and playing at TMU, but what returned is very, very talented. Sure not Lind, Palmer, Alexander and Freihofer talented, but very talented. Honestly, the 9th region is down this year, NDA lost 5 seniors (2 playing at the next level and 1 turned down a D1 offer late in the recruiting season), Highlands lost 2 D1 players and Orme to injury, HC lost 2 players that are playing at the next level and Dimyah (Sp?) to injury, Dixie lost two players that are playing at the next level and Pelphrey to injury.

This Cooper team definitely was near if not at the top of the region from a talent perspective.

Very much agreed with his - it seems like a lot of people are "dancing" around the topic and not really giving details on what happened? I know the season just ended for the team, so that may have something to do with it, just a really odd situation.

The 45 point swing in the Ryle games and the 29 point swing in the Highlands games truly needs to be studied.

Rumor at the semi's and championship girls game was 2 of the 3 Juniors would be transferring out if coaches were not fired.

Any updates here?  Any movement on the coaching staff?  Any discipline for the coaching staff?  Or is this all just entitled parents and players crying wolf?

If I were the AD or principal, I would sign re-sign the coaches right now. People who are not in the building should have no say on who is hired within the building.

With all due respect, parents absolutely have say on what type of character will be influencing their children. As stated previously, this was not a game management, playing time, or outcome issue. From what I have heard, this has nothing to do with Cooper underperforming. I am sure the administration is doing their due diligence and speaking with all of the players and likely the coaches before any action is taken.
