What about the teams that still have district games next week?

I think the original post was referencing just the 47th district, not all districts.

Assignments Grundy has gotten tasked with this Year: Walker Craig (Rock), Leek Ateny (DCA), Carson Fraley (Pulaski), Higgonbotham (MC).  Really, an undervalued attribute to this Somerset team’s succes

I think Kole has the potential to make the big league one day.  Special bat and pitcher!

Garrard over Boyle in OT 61-57

That was at Boyle.

Good win for the Lions, two nights in a row. Might have a better read on the postseason scenarios in the 45th after tonight’s Boyle/Lincoln game.

If Boyle and Garrard both finish 3-4 in district who gets the 3? Is it RPI?

Per KHSAA: Head to Head play within district, if still tied RPI. KSD will  automatically take the 6 seed.

This is the plan for the 45th

The 47th is finished. Those districts with games still to play will continue to have RPI factor in up until their last week of district games.

So it should be:

#1 Seed Somerset vs. #4 Seed Casey County

#2 Seed Pulaski County vs. #3 Seed Rockcastle County

With the 47th District Tournament at Casey County.

That was a huge win on Thursday for Somerset.  Rockcastle is inconsistent but dangerous.  I think both Somerset and Pulaski County are better, but both have already beaten the Rockets twice.  That old adage about it being hard to beat a team 3 times in a season would certainly be my worry here.

And Walker Craig can give you 30 quickly.

Boyle pulls the sweep of Lincoln and wins tonight by 1 in double OT off a game winner by Sawyer Pittman.

This game had it all.  45th has been pure theatre all week.

Fascinating to look back at Scoreboard, and Pulaski has won 39 out 41 meetings against Rock.  I would’ve never guessed with how hotly contested those games typically are.

I wouldn't have dreamed that.  Casey County actually has more wins against them over that span.
