I triple checked the scoreboard but unless I missed something there were no games in the 12th this week. We will see what the lingering snow allows this week but we know teams will be scrambling to get the district games in. Obviously, rankings stay the same.

Rankings:

1. Danville Christian Academy

2. Wayne County

3. Somerset

4. Pulaski County

5. Southwestern

6. West Jessamine

7. Boyle County

8. Lincoln County

9. Rockcastle County

10. Somerset Christian School

11. McCreary Central

12. East Jessamine

13. Garrard County

14. Danville

15. Mercer County

16. Burgin

17. Casey County

18. Trinity Christian

19. Kentucky School for the Deaf

Rock and Henry Clay played @ Sayre Sat.  I believe HC won by two.  I think only game played for the week.  Hopefully everyone gets it back rolling this week.

As of now, the DCA/Lincoln game @DCA  is on for tomorrow (Monday) night.

45th District is full this week, games every night but Wednesday (provided the weather holds up):

Monday

• Lincoln County at DCA

Tuesday

• Danville at Boyle County
• DCA at Garrard County

Thursday

• Garrard County at Danville

Friday

• Garrard County at Boyle County
• Lincoln County at Danville

Saturday

• Boyle County at Lincoln County

Somerset @ Pulaski Co. set for TH. Night.  Hopefully the rain isn’t too heavy on Tues and Wed, and temps stay above freezing.

DCA defeated Lincoln Co. 62-48.  Lincoln led by 1 after 3 Quarters.  Stop me if you’ve heard this before, Leek Ateny was a stat stuffer.  Mikels was also huge on the interior.  Lane Sargent (forgive me on spelling) was really good for LC making 5 3s.  6 straight wins for the Warriors over Patriots in this budding rivalry.

Tomorrow night will be a big time trap game for DCA @ Garrard.  I expect the Golden Lions to be game (if they aren’t too rusty).  The layoff definitely showed for both of these teams early tonight.

Sergent?

Rockcastle Co. had a massive road win last over Southwestern 77-51.  Not surprised that they won, but the margin speaks to how well they must have played.

DCA over Garrard 63-52.

Boyle over Danville in OT. Danville snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. Blew a 15 pt lead.

Danville absolutely blew the game by missing free throws. Boyle took advantage and got the win.

Missed FTs the kiss of defeat this time of year.  Danville will be a scary out on their home floor in district tournament.

Danville stopped being aggressive in trying to score and yes missed a bunch of FT's down the stretch.  Danville had no answer for Driver but Danville's guards are better than Boyle's.  Boyle could not guard Danville's guards.  Boyle is 3-5 in 2026.

There was a rumor floating around that Pendygraft had been ruled eligible to play basketball for Boyle.  Is there anything to it?
