QB looked really good against CAL. 

I think the Scotties have to prove a lot to be considered among the top of 3A. The talent is definitely there but will they lock in and show the toughness it takes to be a contender?

The only problem is it’s going to be hard to really know anything about this team they play Southwestern in the first game who unless they have improved won’t be a challenge then Barren Co in the second game which may be their toughest game all year because I expect them to be better than the 5-6 they put up last year and then Franklin Simpson the last game of the season which are traditionally strong but other than that they will probably have all running clocks so we may not know for sure how good this team is until the third round of the playoffs.

Glasgow has a chance to be really good up front this season. With the addition of two senior linemen, the Scotties should have more depth and be stronger in the trenches than they have been in years. The unit will be led by Jordan Huffman, and if the offensive line develops the way many expect, it could become one of Glasgow’s biggest strengths. If they control the line of scrimmage, the Scotties will have a chance to compete with anyone on their schedule, and they expect to make a deep playoff run with the team that they have.

Who are the additional senior linemen I haven’t heard about that.

Transfers Between High Schools Policy

BGP is not a clearinghouse or platform for speculation, rumors, or discussion of potential or anticipated student-athlete transfers.

The use of the terms “transfer portal” or “portal” to describe high school student-athletes is prohibited in all high school forums.

Only confirmed transfers may be discussed, and discussion must be strictly limited to factual reporting of the move (i.e., the student-athlete has transferred from School A to School B).

Looks like the Scotties have a ton of talent at the skill positions as I just read that they made the final four out of 66 teams at the Eastern Kentucky University 7 on 7. The Scotties fell to Ironton (OH) in the semi finals.

Only lost to Ironton by 5 I believe it was. Got the ball back with one play from the 30 and it was deflected. 

They’ve always got lots of fast skill players sounds like they may have a quarterback who can get the skill players the ball.

Does anyone know who all the Scotties faced at EKU? I haven’t seen a bracket or anything. Just saw that their Facebook page said they had made the final four.

Still a good confidence boost to get to the final 4 of a large 7v7 tournament, but that’s not really a difficult part of the bracket to advance through to the final four.

I don’t know my eyes ain’t as good as they used to be but it looks like CAL was in their bracket so Glasgow or someone Glasgow beat apparently took them out.

That was CALs JV. They entered them in.

CAL enters their JV in this event every year.  They actually did ok going 3-3 on the day I believe.  Now, back to my original point.  A good confidence booster for Glasgow no doubt, but not exactly the toughest part of the bracket to advance through.  I do appreciate the attempt at sarcasm, but might be good to know all the facts first.
