If your young and hungry. The opportunity at a HC job. I'm not sure any time would be a deterrent to jump at it. It could be a great chance to take. 

I'm not sure what their talent looks like. Having the right energetic coach who can connect with the kids and the community. It could be a great opportunity.

If that’s the case, why not promote one of the coordinators. They’re in that position for a reason. Don’t open to the public outsiders, but promote within.

I think he left Trimble because the program itself was discontinued. He did a good job at Carroll but was asked to leave. The only place he actually quit was Scott.

I thought he was let go at Scott? I'm not 100% sure, that's why I'm asking.

It has to be open to the public. Just like any other Coaching job. But I agree starting with the 2 coordinators make sense.

Pretty sure it was a "quit or get fired" situation. Trimble was a complete program meltdown. Yes at Carroll he had success, but that again was based off of what he was left with. 

The point is, his track record with controversial off the field issues he's had everywhere. Has caused him to be let go, leave or get fired pretty quickly from his stops.

Trimble had football for 3 years after he left, took 2018 and 2019 off, and then came back. His last year was winless. . 

Sometimes wins come from Jimmy's and Joe's, not X's and O's. But you have to have both in order to compete, which a lot of folks / parents / administrators don't understand.

Wasn't directing that comment towards him, he's a good dude, people under him need to take accountability instead of getting their feelings hurt. 

You said "starts at the top." Isn't the superintendent "the top?"

What accountability needs to be taken?  Whose feelings were hurt?  If they felt they made the wrong decision, then they were accountable and tried to right the ship before it got out of hand.  Just curious as to what you might know towards feelings being hurt?

Any updates on this? I’m guessing they’d like to hire someone before school let's out later this week.
