I think Miami has a real shot at still getting in. It will be must see tv tomorrow at noon. I hope ESPN will (if smart they will) not slow play the selections and get the bracket set before NFL games kick at 1:00pm.

Any arguments for Duke in over JMU? JMU was ranked higher and also won their conference, does or should 5 loss Duke jump over them?

Right and it will be interesting to see what the graybeards smoking cigars in the backroom decide. 

Alabama lost soundly, but they didn't get blown out. If the committee takes Bama out, they're 100% going against the fact that playing in a conference championship game can't hurt you compared to teams that aren't playing in one.

This may not be the popular opinion, but I think I would choose Miami. Even with them not making the ACC championship, they might have been playing better than anyone of the conference. Alabama made the SEC championship and lost it without showing much impressive. I know it was early but their loss to Florida State was worse than losses of the others. Miami beat Notre Dame too.

I don’t like Miami, but there’s no question that they deserve it of those three. They literally beat Notre Dame head to head and Bama has been looking poor for a while now. Bama has the best win but the worst loss (to a team Miami beat, no less). Their resumes are close enough to go to the eye test, and eye test says Miami.
