UK hasn’t had 70,000 people at a football game in 20 years.

Paying the winningest coach in your program’s history $30 million to leave is exceptionally irresponsible.

They may work out a deal to lower the buyout, but UK is not firing him if it means paying him $30+ million.

Obviously you haven’t been attending, the 63K capacity has filled numerous times lately with lots standing in the top.

"The largest crowd (71,107) at Commonwealth Stadium watched Kentucky lose 52-24 to Georgia on Oct. 26, 2002."

"The largest crowd in the current stadium configuration saw Kentucky lose to Georgia 34-17 on Nov. 3, 2018."

Officially the capacity is 62,093 and that doesn’t include standing room which is around 1K to 2K.

Won't make a difference. They need a BUNCH of new players.

Getting a bunch of new players is not as hard these days as it use to be. As rosters completely turn over almost every year it seems like now.

Depending how this season ends up, I do think they truly may just bite the bullet and fire him.  You are correct that they truly can't afford to fire him from a financial stand point, but they also truly can't afford to not fire him from a complete collapse of the program stand point. Which I think at the end of the day, the second point will make them find some way to suck it up and find the money to move on from him, unless they somehow finish strong.

Stoops won't be the coach at UK next year.  However that plays itself out, I believe that's how it will play out, because I'm not seeing a strong finish.

As for Boley, who knows?  It will likely depend on money, first.  Second is probably who replaces Stoops.

I mean I’m not sure Kentucky can beat Tennessee Tech which is undefeated.it’s obvious UK lost a lot in the portal and the replacement is not very good.thrown in a coach who’s time here has passed.if I was Boley I would go to the highest bidder and leave Lexington like The bluegrass conspiracy did.

Hopefully you have changed your opinion after last night, Ky will beat TennTech comfortably and maybe even hand Fla a loss, as for Boley, he needs to stay put if he wants to remain a starter in the SEC.

I think he will definitely test the free agent waters.

That is why I would pay him now if it is allowed.

If I am in Boley's camp, there is no way I sign or take anything that keeps him from opening his options for next year, given the uncertainty of the UK coaching landscape.
