If I am in Boley's camp, there is no way I sign or take anything that keeps him from opening his options for next year, given the uncertainty of the UK coaching landscape.

If I was advising Cutter that is exactly what I would be telling him.  Keep your options open.

This obviously won't be very popular, and will send a lot of hate his way from UK fans. However, I think a great spot for him, and a spot he should consider if they offer a good amount of NIL money for him, is Louisville.

That would be huge and like you said cause the haters to come out in droves.

I'm a little late to the game on this one.  I was at the KY/Florida game and spoke to people very close to Boley's parents.  Cutter wants to stay.  He's a KY kid and loves the school and loves the coach.  Obviously if Stoops is fired that could open the gate a little, but I don't think it will take much to keep him here and I think it would take a ton for him to leave.

I hope you are right @UKato91!

UK needs to pay the man.

Short of Stoops leaving and a Homerun replacement hire, I think Cutter Boley moves on.

Wouldn't shock me to see him at Florida with Lane Kiffen, if Kiffen ends up there.

I honestly believe Lane is going to throw a monkey wrench into this whole coaching carousel and stay in Oxford! His son is the starting QB for the Oxford High School team (and does not want to leave Oxford); his family just moved to Oxford and love it there. Which means I hope Florida and LSU have a plan B in place.

I don’t see him going anywhere. He’s a Kentucky kid. Someone will come up with the money to keep him here.

I hope you are right. However, he ha already shown in high school, that he could leave to possibly go to a better situation. He was already a UK target before ever even transferring to LCA, but going there gave him a better chance to win a state title and play in a spread offense. If a big time program with National Championship hopes and a big check come along, then it may be hard to say no, Kentucky boy or not. As I am sure he has dreams of playing for a title, and also making the NFL one day. So both of those and a big pay check, may trump being a Kentucky kid.

So if he enters his name in the transfer portal (which he should), then it may be time to worry.
