Here’s what I would really like to know.   With ten runs scored through seven innings, how many pitches were thrown between Ohtani’s homer in the seventh and Freeman’s in the eighteenth without a run being scored?

I made it through the end of the 12th when Kershaw got out of the jam but probably should have stayed up because I kicked around in the bed for an hour wondering what was happening!

Did either team have any pitchers remaining besides Ohtani and Bieber who are scheduled to start Game 4?

There may be a couple of situations where you have to but if I'm Toronto he's getting the Barry Bonds treatment from me the rest of the series.

I stayed up and watched the whole thing, absolutely riveting.  And Yoshinobu Yamamoto volunteered to pitch in the 18th/19th and he was warmed up and ready to go but not needed. 

The pitching, the defensive plays, the absolute bombs that were hit that didn't get out.  Wow, I am so glad there wasn't any football on. ?

There were two World Series records set last night Ohtani became the first player to reach base 9 times in one game. Also, Freddie Freeman became the first player to have two walk-off homers in World Series history.

It is interesting to see how the stage of a World Series brought out the best in previously mediocre pitchers such as Henriquez and Klein for LA and Lauer for Toronto.  They all pitched very well considering the circumstances and that they were viewed as "back of the bullpen".

On Ohtani, same for reaching base 6, 7, and 8 times.  I was like, you are walking him again, ugh.  But I don't blame the Jays, I would have walked him too.

And what about that little fireplug of a catcher for the Blur Jays?  I had never heard of him.

Coming soon to a baseball park near you. The Ohtani Rule. No player shall be intentionally walked more than two times during a game. 

Probably won’t happen, but you could liken it to the brotherly shove. Nobody wants to see it. It’s not entertaining. 

I think I was around the 14th inning or so the Jays had two outs and Ohtani was up they intentionally walked him and then also intentionally walked Betts and Freeman flew out to deep center to end the inning.

I was wondering why they didn't immediately walk Betts too, they had to think about it.  And they ran the analytics on Freeman's fly out there, more often than not that speed/angle go yard.  

I thought this was interesting. 

Overall a pretty good job, considering the number of pitches that he saw.

I knew he missed some high but still pretty good for a human.
