Such a weird ending.

It was, if I have my downs right I would have clocked it and then set up my final play from inside the one.

Scott County seemingly wanted to imply they were spiking the ball. Sure looked like a QB sneak to me. They should have thrown the ball on second down it took 30 seconds off the clock by running it.

Yikes. Terrible time management.

Terrible time management, yes. However, how is there not a flag thrown in the final play! It was clearly a false start, or offsides.

Congrats to Woodford County for pretty much locking up that #1 seed in the district. They get to avoid a trip to Cooper in round 2.

Woodford had not played much defense all night (neither team did) but they really stepped up the last 3 plays as the Cards had it at the 3 and got stopped on two plays and the last play they just ran out of time.

Not sure how this shakes up November. Scott County fumbled that game at the end with the play calling I hate to say.

Is it looking like Scott Co. at Cooper round two? Or will it mostly likely be a rematch? Forget how sister district play works out assuming 3 of our district win.

Great point both of these teams will need to improve their defense to play with Cooper.

If the seeding holds, the #2 team from your district will play the #1 team from Cooper's district.

The first play was the issue. They ran their longer developing fullback play which everyone was expecting. Their second play should have been their first and all throwing after that.

This game delivered!!!!!
