Who wins this one? In my opinion, East should. BUT after the shellacking at Ashland and the heartbreaker at Dunbar, who knows which team will show up? Fighters or the ones needing notes from mommy to play?  Flat out hate talking about the kids so I won’t single any out. But Ashland punched and some just rolled over. Definitely not typical. Time to get back to playing East Jess football.

Might win. Then what? That mean Lincoln County is not very good either and the 4-0 record makes them paper tigers?  Who knows?  East’s problem is inconsistency in my opinion. When they execute to the level of their ability they are a very solid team. Hopefully they’ll come out and play for pride. Believe in each other. 

Lincoln is better than they were last year.  But that doesn't mean they are a really good team yet.  They started the season last year at 4-0 and then lost their last 6.  I don't think that will happen this year but I do think they are better than they were last year.

I think Lincoln Co. wins against East, and projecting their schedule out they could be a 7/8 win team.  I don't see them beating Franklin or Boyle Co., with Russell and Garrard Co. being quality matchups for them.  

I'll go with Lincoln Co by 21.

I'm with you on this. Outside of Boyle, I think Lincoln, Russell, and Wayne are all solid (although Wayne's injury situation limits them some). The biggest thing here is avoiding 4th place and a trip to Corbin. The other three teams in Lincoln's sister district all seem beatable for the Pats.

I don’t see Lincoln losing to Wayne now without Edwards.  I think Russell game will be toss up game.  Regardless, one of the best seasons in recent memory for the Patriots if my projection holds.

I don't think a Lincoln win is a forgone conclusion.  I just think they may be a little better.  I have seen Lincoln play, and I've seen East J on film and with that information I came to the conclusion that I think Lincoln might be better.  I think that's the "prediction" part of the thread title.

I think your bias may be overestimating the team’s capabilities.

I think this is the 2nd best team East has played this year so far. East/Lincoln games are typically close. Usually a great matchup. I'll take the Jags by 6.

Seems to be one of Lincoln’s better teams in recent years. Definitely the best since 2021. Looking at the history of this game and it’s usually a close contest. East plays well at home.

Good call on the 2021 team with Coach Crutchfield and Clayton Davis.  Davis is having a great year at Georgetown College at Wideout.
