Little off topic, but Clayton Davis would have started for every team I saw play that year, and I saw a bunch play.  Heck of a football player.

Maybe the results but not the capabilities. They have the talent to be very good. World beaters? No. But definitely should have won Dunbar game and the Ashland game they got into their own heads, from the coaching staff on down.

Oh I get it. The prediction part for sure. I think they look much better tonight. We will see how they respond to adversity for sure.

Since it is live-streamed I won’t be updating as often as usual but I’m in the house now. Looking like a good turnout, long line at the gate. 

Seems East has woken up and decided they will fight back after a clear punch thrown by Lincoln County. Refs went with the soft “off setting” penalties. But it was a blatant punch. 16-13 now Lincoln leads. Huge TD return by Cummins after a Lincoln FG. If the East D can get a full stop this game will be different. 

Just like that after I typed, big gainers back to back by 24. After the D stiffened a little, Lincoln finally punches it in. 23-13 4:50 to go in the 2nd quarter. I suspect they will kick away from Cummins. Yep. Squib kick recovered by East. Ball at the 40. Need a TD here as they will get the ball to start the 3rd. Good chance to stack a couple scores. 

Morton is out with a left shoulder injury. Pads off arm in a sling.
