With the Ads cracking the rankings this game suddenly is an interesting one.   Both teams are 3-0.  Which one ends up being 4-0?

  • Okay, this game is getting crazy now.  Danville immediately strikes back with a 68-yard TOUCHDOWN to Jayden Tandy.  Extra point is no good, though, as kicks have been poor most of the night. Linc

I think Lincoln has their best team in the last few years.  I expect them to win.  Danville is obviously better but Lincoln beat them 42 points last year and I think Lincoln is also better than last year.  I'd be shocked if they beat them that badly, but I do expect the Pats to leave with a "W" again this year.

I think Danville finally takes a loss... but I full expect a closer game than last year's 42-0 contest.

Danville avoids the running clock and learns a lot of valuable lessons to grow from... but Lincoln County pulls away late to win 35-14.

Danville has a chance to win it. I don't know if they will, but they'll have a chance. Anyway,

I'll go Lincoln County 30

          Danville 28

Don't be shocked if those scores are flipped on Friday.

Lincoln wins this one in the trenches.  Kash Smith availability worries me, but the skill positions are deeper this season.

Danville breaks a couple of long ones, but I think that the young players for the Admirals will have a hard time with Lincoln County up front. I'll take the Patriots 42-21.

Damon Spigle is the workhorse this year, I think he went out last Friday with a ankle injury.

I would like to see Danville win this one.  Not sure if they can handle Lincoln up front but does Danville have more speed than Lincoln. It seems like Lincoln usually doen't have a lot of team speed.

Didn’t know that.  Spigle has been great.  Reed Curlis should be a big factor at RB then.

About halfway through the first quarter.  Danville had Lincoln dead to rights on their first drive in a 4th & 15 but then had a roughing the passer penalty negate getting a turnover on downs.  Lincoln made them pay and a QB keeper went into the end zone on a 3rd & goal.

Patriots currently lead 7-0.

If both of these teams keep running the pass (no completions yet) then it's going to be a quick game.  Jayvean Meaux is the entire offense up the field and runs it in for 7 yards for a TOUCHDOWN.  Extra point barely clears the goal post but it's good.

Danville and Lincoln tied at 7 nearing the end of the first quarter.

Reed Curlis runs it in for a TOUCHDOWN after another long Lincoln drive on the ground that started on the Admiral 40.  The Admirals are getting pushed around by the Lincoln O-Line and can't get stops.  Lincoln playing a lot of no huddle.  Extra point is good.

7:49 to play in the second quarter and Lincoln now leads 14-7.

43-yard TOUCHDOWN reception by Trinden Sellers on a short pass after Danville was backed up 25 yards into their own territory through a series of penalties.  Extra point is good.

2:45 to play in the half.  Each team has had two possessions and both have scored and chewed clock.  Tie game at 14.
