Okay, this game is getting crazy now.  Danville immediately strikes back with a 68-yard TOUCHDOWN to Jayden Tandy.  Extra point is no good, though, as kicks have been poor most of the night.

Lincoln now leads 21-20 with about 1:35 to go in the half.

33 seconds to go in the half and Lincoln has the ball on the Admirals 24.

Admirals get the ball to start the next half so this is a big possession for Lincoln.

Trinden Sellers picks off a pass at the 10 yard line.  24 seconds remain in the half.

Admirals opt to take a knee.

Lincoln leads at the half 21-20.

That was a fun half of football to watch.

I think the last team with the ball might win this game.  We will see if either can make the key defensive adjustment to turn the tide.

Jayvean Meaux is quite the player as a freshman.  Does not go down easy from contact at all.  Bright future for this young man on the gridiron.

Danville opts to go for it on a 4th & 5 from their 46 but a long pass downfield does not work.  Turnover on downs.

Reed Curliss makes a nice 35-yard run.  The Admirals look like they are wearing down vs. the Lincoln O-Line as others predicted going into this game.  Extra point is good.

Lincoln extends its lead to 28-20 with 7:16 to go in the third quarter.

Meaux and QB Dylan Kruver work together to get the Ads into the end zone, Kruver finishes it off with a 6 yard TOUCHDOWN run.

Admirals go for two but the pass fails.

Lincoln leads 28-26 with 1:56 to play in the third quarter.  Admirals are going to need a defensive stop or some turnover magic to get back in this one.

And Lincoln fumbles, which Danville takes to the Lincoln 4.  However, the Ads get flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct.  So the ball is back on the 19.  Could be a big swing of the game, though.

Meaux is taken down for a 3 yard loss on first down and that ends the third quarter.

Lincoln leads 28-26 but the Ads are just outside the red zone.

Kruver pass into the end zone on 3rd down is intercepted by Lincoln.

11:40 to go and its Lincoln ball at their 20.

Huge swing.
