Florida State halfway to their 2024 win total!

With this loss two of the 4 SEC teams ranked in the top 10 have went down in their first games. LSU could well lose tonight at Clemson.

Congrats @DragonFire and that was awesome, college football is so much more fun now!

It’s a stupid cliche to say that one team wanted it more.

So I’ll say this.  With the exception of the Bama qb running all over the place and making people miss, FSU played with a lot more intensity.

I don't think those road losses will hurt them in the grand scheme of things.

Perfect storm of an over rated Alabama and an under-rated FSU.  Yeah they were 2-10 last season, but in the new era of the portal and NIL, you can turn it around that quick.

I agree completely, FSU played loser the longer the game went and Alabama got tighter. FSU came out with a chip on their shoulder.

Alabama receivers with several drops early on really set the tone for the game by stopping several drives with drops. It was almost like they'd spent the off season reading how great they all were. Reminds me of UK's receivers last year, thinking they were better than they really were. Then they came out and ran lazy routes, didn't look passes in and rarely ran at top speed. Bama's guys did a lot of that today.

I don't think Texas will but I think it will hurt Bama unless Florida State goes on to win 9 or 10 games they very well might but Texas lost on the road to #3 and defending National Champs and Bama lost to an unranked team who won I think two games last year.

FSU is going to be MUCH better than last year. This won't be a bad loss in 10 weeks.

With portal, NIL and everything else the previous year has never meant less than it does at this point in college football.

I did not realize this great post hrcarrier. The Paul Finebaum should be fun when it is next on either Monday or Tuesday.
