I questioned the Deboer hiring from the get go. He is making me look right on that. It just seemed like an odd choice to me. I expected a coach with a longer track record as head coach to get hired. But ... it is a different scene with NIL and the portal so Bama isn't going to get all the talent they had in the past. A dropoff from Saban was inevitable regardless of who they hired. We'll see if Deboer can figure it out. Another 4 loss season will heat things up in the fan base.
