Thanks for posting the final @Cmurph06y and for letting everyone know why the game was called early.

With that said everyone, no more about shots fired at/near the Mayfield game.  Just like they said on the broadcast, we are going to stay in our lane and let the authorities sort it out.  Once Mayfield PD/the school release some info on it, we can probably have a thread in the CI forum about it but not in this thread or forum. 

Five plays into the game it looked to me like Mayfield had way too much speed for Graves County.

Mayfield looked good. The Mayfield QB has much more zip on the ball than last year. Mayfield handled Graves in all phases of the game.

Mayfield looked good and Graves County looked bad.

Graves Co made a point of not letting Josiah England loose to run all over them, but Mayfield has other weapons, and the Eagles had no answer for them. One thing is for sure, the Cardinals are better with Robbins at QB. Glad to see him playing tonight.

Great for Mayfield to get their QB1 back and healthy.  That changes the Cardinal offense. Kid looks like he can be really good by the end of his HS career.

I think Mayfields QB has a high ceiling. 

Grey looked really good. He has some size and his arm is a lot stronger. The defense looked really sharp. I feel like this might be one of those years.

To my suprise Graves was no threat offensively..Notice that after 1st series..Our QB played much better than theirs...For some reason Graves QB was back peddling before the ball was even snapped...Both should improve and make some noise especially Mayfield.

Cards looked the part tonight, If they can stay healthy this is a very dangerous team!

 

Mayfield's overall team speed is impressive. They have 6 or 7 legit WRs and defensively, they swarm you. Very active. There were a few times it looked as if Graves had some big holes to run through and then they were closed off quickly for minimal yardage. I thought Robbins looked sharp passing the ball. Kid's got a big arm with some high velocity. This team will continue to improve and should be a legit state title contender.

He was backpedaling because Mayfield's D line was getting to him at the same time he caught the snap. Graves County's offensive line was a sieve. From what I saw last night, Graves County could start the season 0-7 with their schedule if their offensive line doesn't get better fast.
