Woody, did you know that horse meat is a lean source of protein, iron, and vitamins.  It is often described as slightly sweeter and redder than beef, with a distinct flavor.  Some find it to be a healthy alternative to beef, with fewer calories and more protein.

I am only working a half day today and my first Mint Julep is going down the hatch at 1300.

Go Bluebirds!

I ate horse a couple of times while in Kazakhstan.  Was actually pretty good.

It’ll be strange watching from so far, but I am excited to watch the Birds play this year. It’ll be a gauntlet, but I’m still taking Highlands. If they can stay healthy - their skill positions are som

  • Should be a beautiful night for week 1 across NKY, been a while since we’ve had temperatures like this opening week.

Karen, I did know that but thank you for the note. I really enjoy my horse meat with Shiitake Mushrooms and a side of Lotus Root and I have a great recipe for Creamy Horseradish in case you would like it. A Mint Julep sounds amazing! I am heading to the Midway now if you are free.

See you soon!

Always a pleasure. Did I ever tell you my real name is Charles?

Ok, I got the info that parking is in short supply, and to expect a decent amount of traffic. What about the food? Anything outside of hot dogs and nachos, or is there a local, non-chain restaurant to check out?

Tickle Pickle is a Burger place pretty close. It’s pretty good.

Could find easier parking towards the center of town and eat at The Green Line. Great food and patio, and a very easy 5-minute walk to the stadium. There is also a local taco joint right across the street from Green Line that is pretty solid too.

Name piqued my interest at first glance. Going there!

Would this option be a quicker exit when the game ends, rather than parking closer to the stadium?
