Update: evidently it's not a done deal that he's gone, even though those reports are out there. Sports Illustrated is saying he's only out if Texas can hire a high level coach to replace him.

Cal played a lot of the hits last night, including completely freezing up against a zone defense and having no idea how to inbound from the baseline, but fortunately Kansas was just as bad. I think I saw this morning that the odds were set at 19.5 for total SEC wins in the NCAA tournament.

SEC is trash. Go Duke. 

SEC goes 8-8 in first round, with only Mississippi St and Missouri losing to higher seeded teams. Arkansas was the only team to pull an "upset" and beat a lower seeded team.

The SEC's record in the NCAA tournament is currently 15-6. The UK/UT game will obviously be a victory and loss for the conference.

SEC 7-1 in the round of 32 correct?  That's pretty strong!

I think it should be noted that the Big 10 went 8-0 in the first round.  They did fall to 4-4 in the round of 32, although only Wisconsin's loss would be considered an upset.  Also, the Sweet 16 contains 7 SEC and 4 B1G schools... so almost 70% of the remaining field.  Is this an indication of the power of NIL and the rich getting richer?
