I hated to see her get injured in the Class A final.  I was looking forward to her matchup with Grace Mbugua.  Are there any updates on the severity of her injury?

She did not play in the game against Bardstown last night. Was on crutches. They were still waiting scan results.

Kentucky seems to lose a lot of their top female basketball players to out of state teams. The Johnson girl from Sacred Heart has committed to LSU.

We are a huge net exporter of hoops talent at all collegiate levels. The other big two from the '25 class: Ciara Byars (GRC) to Michigan and Grace Mbugua (Danville Christian) to Louisville.

Kentucky talent going to Louisville is not exporting but you are correct that many top players leave the State to play ball.

I have been told that Leah Macy is out with an ACL Injury. Will someone please confirm. I see that she has only played in 16 of Bethlehem's 22 games. If it is true, that is a shame. Hate that a Senior is unable to finish their HS career being injured. 

She is not going to return to play this season.

That is unfortunate, she is a great player and has always been a class act to watch compete. 

The family has clearly decided to keep the details of her injury personal, which I think we can all respect. Best wishes to her for a quick recovery and a great career at ND.
