Wow, thanks for the info. That sounds great. Who are the frosh and 8th grader QBs? Or is that too young to talk about online?

I wasnt being snarky, just saying. I would say Tayden will do just fine rolling in at linebacker. I haven't seen Litmer play defense so couldn't tell you. I have seen Tayden play LB....

Frosh QB is kid from Campbell County 8th grade team last year.  Not sure on 8th graders name.

I am not 100% certain who is playing LB to know if Tayden would be an upgrade or not.  IMO way too valuable on offensive side of the ball to risk injury.  Same may apply to Gabe Williams on defensive side of the ball.

I heard Brett Hamblen’s son was coming up, might be an 8th grader. He played QB in spring flag and can sling it.

8th grade QB is Jax Moeves. Really nice 3 sport athlete.

Tayden Lorenzen will play a good bit of MLB. He has been in practice. Personally, I would love him at Nose guard in the 3 man front. Would be a game wrecker. As a TE/WR on offense, he needs to take reps on defense. It will help the team and it will help his recruiting. Gabe Williams is taking reps at safety and RB. My guess is he will play more defense than offense but will still get many carries.

He is currently the 8th grade quarterback.

Here's an FYI for Bluebird fans that I've worked out with the RPI Playoffs Bracket this year...if you want to look down the line at some possible/probable opponents in the 4A bracket. 

Round 1 vs Greenup County (11/7)

Round 2 vs Ashland Blazer (11/14)

Round 3 at Johnson Central (11/21)

Round 4 at Franklin County (11/28) 

Round 5 vs Boyle County (Kroger Field) (12/5)

This is an ASSUMPTION that all the highest RPI teams win, and Cov Cath has a loss to Johnson Central in round 2...and obviously just an excitement post after the bracket was released...but anything can obviously happen and throw things off.

I mean he’s risking injuries playing offense too. If he’s playing other sports he’s risking injury. IMO, if a players a valuable, you’d want him on the field at all times. Only exception I make is Special Teams. But other than that. He should play both offense and defense. 

The QB for Highlands is scary good the next 3 years. Opposing teams will have their hands full. The Blue Colonels and Birds will both have new Varsity QB's next year. 

I give the Birds the edge on paper from the QB position, no doubt. Let's see what happens come Spring Ball time. Time always tells!
