Cale Harris had a nice day as well as ian Garrahan and Chase Jacob. Defensively Gabe Williams and Connor Carnohan had good days.

What position will Cale be playing this year?

Was told Tayden Lorenzen and John Feldbrugge.

I was told Feldbrugge is going to be a stud. We all know Lorenzen is an awesome player already. Good job today

I've definitely followed them. Coached youth football in Cinci for 10 years. I wouldn't say that they have been a power house since the 90's. Definitely have had some good years though and have had alot of success recently. I know they have played some KY teams that Highlands wouldn't waste the time putting them on their schedule. I will take Anderson over Cooper this year and I love the match up.

I guess SK is not a team Highlands would play.  Just ask Highlands to schedule Anderson and we will settle it between the lines.  There is a big difference between ohio vs kentucky football.

I would suspect from what I heard that this is a case where the family thinks he will get more college exposure on the recruiting trail by playing in Ohio but you are right, there is a tremendous amount of College Exposure with the program at the moment between Merz, Lorenzon, the Benke Boys and several others. I just saw that the Benke's pulled in their second D1 offer from EKU and I would expect this trend continues. The Birds are loaded with D1 talent and the connections on the college circuit run deep so I would imagine there will be a lot of College Coaches visiting Fort Thomas on Friday Nights for the foreseeable future. I read somewhere that he did pull his first offer from Glenville State so hopefully everything works out for the young man.

Mason Howard just added another D1 offer from Citadel yesterday as well. If it doesn’t jump out to everyone that the issue was the Harutukus I don’t know what would make that happen. The dad was a total nightmare, kid and mom though were great and will be missed. Teagan is 6’0 ft not 6’2 not 6’3 and to be honest you just don’t see many 6’0 D1 tackles. Highlands now has two Division 1 lineman, two Division 2 at this point in their career and one with some d3 snd NAIA, I do however wish Tegan well, as I stated he’s a great kid and he did not want to leave.

3 D1 if you count Lorenzen at TE.

it’s very common to see kids lie about their height and weight on Twitter as well as put up inaccurate 40 times and I’m sure there are kids on highlands roster that aren't being fully truthful about their height and weight. There’s a reason why whenever college coaches go and visit recruits, they usually get a picture alongside them so other coaches can see whether or not they’re exaggerating their height and weight.

Yea, your point? I’m not saying kids are truthful, I’m saying Tegan is 6’0 ft and you don’t see six foot D1 tackles. His dad’s expectations might be a little unrealistic and I could be wrong. His dad’s reason for going to Anderson is D1 exposure/ opportunity, he’d be playing next to 3 D1 guys on Highlands line. With that said I think Anderson runs a great program.

Who is the starting rb for Highlands this year?

Gabe Williams will be RB1

Will this year be more pass or run? They have another huge oline, and with the schedule would it benefit them to ground those games out? Good luck this year. That schedule should make a lot of kentucky high school football fans excited.

Not going to argue with you there.

I am thinking more RB by committee since Williams is such an important piece on defense.

How did the team finish in the passing tournament in Hoover over the weekend?

I'm confused on this one as well. In his position I don't feel like Anderson is an upgrade over Highlands for recruiting or chasing a state title. Tons of college exposure. For some other kids in NKY that transfered to Anderson and some other Ohio schools I can't knock them for it. But this one is kind of wierd.

Only thing Anderson has to offer that highlands is lacking is they are playing better competition. But if you look at Anderson's schedule outside of Winton Woods, the competition level is not going up by a whole lot.
