Trinity: 29 state titles

1 national title

2nd isn’t even close..

if I’m not mistaken St X is sitting on 13..

@Runcible Owl said "most successful athletic program," and not "most successful football team." @Falcon Pride quoted RO and said "Largest: Yes, Most successful: Up for debate."

When I quoted Falcon Pride and asked my question I was asking about which athletic program has the most state championships. Last time I checked the St. X athletic program has 172 state championships. How many do the Rocks have?

Right. So St. Xavier has more then.

Come on now are we going to say most titles equal most successful?

Is UCLA the most successful men’s College Basketball team?

Is YALE the most  successful football team? Yes they have one more than Bama.

Probably deserves a thread of its own in the Summertime!

Probably not the same comparison. Outside of basketball at St. X, each athletic team has shown a consistence of winning championships during each era.

UCLA and Yale...not so much in your comparison.

Tigers finish up spring practice with a spring game tonight. Not sure what the format will be and not sure what role if any the weather will play.
