The Bengals announced their 53 man roster.  Here are Joe's fleet of pass catchers:

And look at our LB group:  Oren Burks (8), Logan Wilson (6), Shaka Heyward (2), Barrett Carter (R), Demetrius Knight Jr. (R)

Lou is a good coach and will land somewhere.  But I agree with him being let go.  The defense was consistently mediocre with flashes of really good play.  That side of the ball here needs a new voice.

Some intriguing roster cuts that should entice the Bengals. I feel they need to claim or sign 1-2 more OL but Zac said yesterday he felt the starting RG was already on the roster. I'd like to see them look at least at these guys.

I didn't review all of those players, but I did notice about Trent Brown.  Seems a bit like damaged goods.

They’re set with starting tackles. They need someone who can fill in when needed that isn’t Cody Ford. Brown can’t play 50 snaps a game but I would trust him to sub in 20-30 plays over a game.

I don't think so. The Bengals aren't going to get stuck paying top 5 money to a 32 year old DE.

I think it all depends on how he does this year. I don't think the Bengals mind paying big money to guys as long as they are performing. However, they don't want to be stuck paying big money for guys, once their play drops. Ever since they got burnt giving both Atkins and Dunlap big third contracts after the age of 30, only to see their play drop off rather quickly. The Bengals don't get long term deals to 30 plus year olds. However, if Hendrickson balls out again this year in regards to sacks. I do think the Bengals would strongly consider paying him the franchise tag cost for another year.

The Bengals coaching staff are high on Ford, and I think they are definitely set rolling with him as the first lineman off the bench.

The Bengals front office do love going after failed first round picks, and seeing if they can get something out of them. Which to be fair, they have had some luck too in that regard. So Cole Strange would fit right under that philosophy as he was a first round pick just a few years ago. Plus the Bengals new offensive line coach, also coached him in New England. So I wouldn't be surprise if the Bengals put a claim in on him.

Practice Squad Signees

--HB Gary Brightwell

--OT Devin Cochran

--OT Andrew Coker

--CB Jalen Davis

--LB Joe Giles-Harris

--G Jaxson Kirkland

--CB Bralyn Lux

--C Seth McLaughlin

--HB Kendall Milton

--WR Jordan Moore

--LB Maema Njongmeta

--DE Isaiah Thomas

--WR Isaiah Williams

--QB Brett Rypien

This is all from the Bengals, also.

In addition, the following three players, who each were waived/injured by the Bengals yesterday, cleared waivers today and reverted to the team's Reserve/Injured list:

--OT Caleb Etienne

--TE Tanner McLachlan

--G Cordell Volson

Bengals were awarded ZERO waiver claims today... No clue if they even put any in but if they didn't, they are doing a disservice to Joe without at least trying to bolster that line.

I got a wonderful "gift" from the Bengals this morning in the form of an email telling me that my "convertible club" tickets that I have had since the beginning of the stadium are now going to change over to be "club" seats.  This is all due to the renovation.  I have one month to decide if I want to participate or be cast over to another part of the stadium.  Here is the lowdown for my section:

2025 (this year) - $1350/ticket
2026 (next year) - $6000/ticket

Yikes.

Wow!!

I had club tickets for a few seasons and they were no where near that expensive.  Great experience but no thank you, I much prefer watching from home.

Actually, my bad.  I misquoted.  It would be only $3000/ticket.  Got too excited there for a second.

Which is about double what it was 15 years ago.

RB Audric Estime

Why would the Bengals have any interest in a RB? What RB would they cut to keep this guy?
