January 31, 200719 yr Who are they ? Here's mine..... "Pistol" Pete Maravich - Greatest ball handler/passer to ever play the game IMO. (My all time fav. player) Magic Johnson - 2nd greatest passer of all time IMO. Michael Jordan - The Greatest. Dennis Rodman - Don't ask (Fav. player when he was with the Bulls/2nd fav. player of all time) Vince Carter - Favorite current player. One of the best dunkers of all time. Julius Erving - Great dunker & just a fine offensive player. Jason Williams AKA White Chocolate - Great passer & just because.
January 31, 200719 yr Carmello's my favorite now, Jordan then, Steve Francis when he actually enjoyed basketball.
January 31, 200719 yr From the ABA and NBA it's Julius Erving for me. I also like Walt "Clyde" Frazier from the New York Knicks.
January 31, 200719 yr 1. Dave Cowens Larry Bird Michael Jordan Akeem Olajuwon Kevin McHale Pete Maravich Dennis Rodman (ONLY on the basketball court)
January 31, 200719 yr Jamal Mashburn (not because he was the best player, but I started being obsessed with UK basketball Mash's freshman year). Ive always loved him. Michael Jordan-hes who every little boy who was crazy about basketball wants to be. Larry Bird-He got the absolute most out of his ability and is a great story of a guy who worked his way into being a star without really having the typical physical gifts. Magic Johnson-Probably the most unique player to ever play the game. There is definitly only one Magic Johnson. John Stockton, like Bird also got the most out of his abilities.
January 31, 200719 yr Alaa Abdelnaby. Only Arab to ever play in the NBA. What a great career. He had a sweet J and his its really a shame some of his fashion statements didnt take off.
January 31, 200719 yr What a great career. He had a sweet J and his its really a shame some of his fashion statements didnt take off. Here's what I'm thinking, though. Assuming he was Muslim, his name is the same as his god. Alaa. So does that make him the Arab basketball equivalent of our God Shammgod? Just a thought...
January 31, 200719 yr 1. My all time favorite is Pete Maravich. 2. My second all time favorite is Michael Jordan.
January 31, 200719 yr All time,,,Dr. J hands down for me Can't deny being an MJ fan either. Currently I'm a Wade fan. Also wonder if his mother was dyslexic since she spelled his name Dwyane.

I was able to TIVO most of the shows including his 3 consecutive 3 point contests, retirement ceremony, and hall of fame induction. It was nice!
